STOTT PILATES® Intensive Reformer
STOTT PILATES® Intensive Reformer is intended for those enthusiast to pilates or already working in the fields of fitness or movement. The course presents how to teach the Essential and Intermediate STOTT PILATES® Reformer repertoire safely and effectively to a range of clients in both private and group settings. It will introduce the STOTT PILATES® Movement System™, which provides a framework to creating intelligent and mindful exercise and serves as the foundation for tailored exercise programming.
The approach is based on the STOTT PILATES® Principles which incorporate recognized movement patterns and qualities and integrates the fascial system. The course presents each exercise and modification in depth, so appropriate programming, effective cueing and clear corrections can be made for each client.

Training dates: Total duration 3 weeks as below schedule:
1.week: 31 January 2025, 01.02.2025, 02.02.2025
2. week: 7,8,9 February 2025
3. week: 13,14,15,16 February 2025

The What, How and Why of the STOTT PILATES® Principles and how to apply them to all exercises

Anatomy, safety & care of the Reformer

How to safely set up the Reformer for each exercise

How to adjust resistance effectively in a variety of exercises

STOTT PILATES® Warm Up on the Reformer

A complete breakdown, including goals, muscular emphasis and movement sequencing of 139 Essential and Intermediate Reformer exercises

Modifications to address specific alignment issues and individual needs

Power workout

Static Postural Analysis and assessment to aid in program creation

Exercise layering related to effective program design

Workout composition for personal and group training

Effective communication, observational skills, verbal cues and imagery for performance enhancement and client motivation

Observation
Beginner classes cater to the absolute beginner. This level is ideal for new students to build their knowledge of the basic principles of Pilates, while also giving them the opportunity to build up their coordination and strength.

02.
Physical review
Advanced class levels are high intensity Pilates classes. This level is only recommended for students who have already been taking the intermediate classes and have been assessed, approved, and promoted to this level by our instructors. Due to the intensity of the movement and quick transitions between movements a certain level of coordination and strength is required from each student to ensure safety.

Practice teaching
Advanced class levels are high intensity Pilates classes. This level is only recommended for students who have already been taking the intermediate classes and have been assessed, approved, and promoted to this level by our instructors. Due to the intensity of the movement and quick transitions between movements a certain level of coordination and strength is required from each student to ensure safety.

- Those registrations which are not fully paid will not be secured.
